Xtabay, I hear you! I want an occasion to wear this sequin blazer I bought post-holidays last year. It’s the only thing in my closet that still has tags on. Cocktail grocery shopping sounds fun...and dangerous! I already come home with way too many treats as it is.
Laurie, oh, I miss going into DC, and Georgetown is always fun for shopping. How did it go?
Thanks for all the lovely comments. I hadn’t opened the box with pins/brooches in so long, I didn’t even remember what I had in there. Funny thing, I don’t remember mom ever wearing this pin, and judging from what I see her wearing in old photos, I think It was from way before I was born, when she was very young, possibly dating back to the 40s. It was a walk down memory lane to look at those pins. I need to post about jewelry and attempt an edit at some point soon.
Kyle, I love scarves! I have too many, but I wear and love most of them. They satisfy my need for pattern and print in the beat way. I used to be so cheap about them, but every time I’ve splurged on a designer one, it gets worn a LOT. And they last forever if you care for them properly. So I feel they are more worth it than I used to believe (I think my attitude was, it’s just a square of fabric, why so expensive??).
