Thank you so much for loving my BF jeans and my new tuxedo jacket together with me! Your lovely comments really made my day today (which was really very rotten at work) and K rating from Angie was just a cherry on top!
I am glad that faded denim was not a faux pas with the black jacket.
Kristin SF, for alterations we ripped out the sleeves from the shoulder seam to the back, my mom took in the shoulders and back along the sleeve seams and re-attached the sleeves. I don't think it is a very simple and cheap alteration but it is not overly complicated either. You can always take a jacket to a seamstress and get an estimate. I don't think the cost of this alteration makes sense unless the jacket is of a such quality that it is a small fraction of its price to make it perfect or if you are very hard to fit properly in jackets. I am really lucky to have my Wiz Mom!
Krish, I wore these BF jeans tucked into a tall boots to work because we had freezing rain and my booties are not the right footwear for these conditions. I have changed into booties at work and wore sheer knee high socks with them.
Christieanne, thanks for loving my haircut. I was afraid I went too short this time...
Mochi, I would love to have a cropped tuxedo jacket too but lately I have real trouble wearing my cropped jackets other than with dresses or tunics over skinnies. I think I need to find the perfect 'cropped' length to wear with regular length tops, I am afraid mine are all too short.
