Avast, ye scurvy dogs! I was a pirate for Halloween (photo 1). I got tons of compliments... my goal was to be a pirate captain, not a pirate wench or "sexy pirate" or whatever. This was for my work party and needed to PG, but it's what I would have preferred anyway. Since I work for an environmental org, I made a little "Save ARRR Seas" sign so I could be a climate activist pirate.
2. Before I changed into the costume, I wore a dress over the thights and boots instead of the pirate coat.
3. Day before Halloween - a little seasonal with the rust pants.
4. Pink cord blazer
5. Boden dress and Frye booties. Worn to a party at the Met Museum that evening.
6-7. Two looks with the same sweater.
8. Peplum blouse and bone colored booties
9. Casual look with leather jacket and red Chucks
10. Today! I finally got this Atlantic-Pacific sweater from Halogen. It's not pilling so far... knock on wood.
