WIW - Frothy Aqua and Wide Leg Jeans

Hello.

I wore this outfit running errands over the weekend.

1. Wide Leg Jeans

I used to wear a lot of bootcut jeans, but I jumped on the wide leg bandwagon and really enjoy them.

2. Gap Cropped Linen Shirt and Gap Modern Tank

Gap calls the color of the linen shirt "Frothy Aqua." I like linen in the summer to look a little more polished than a t-shirt but still stay cool. I really like the cropped length with wide leg jeans and own two of these shirts. Does anyone else like linen in the summer?

3. Habitual Jeans

This is a new to me denim brand. I put a similar pair in the finds, as I can't find this exact one online (I got my pair at TJMaxx). They waist has a fun braided detail.

Angie-Thanks! Wide legs took some time for my eye to adjust, but now I really like them. They are so comfortable to wear. I'm also enjoying the trend of cropped tops, it's nice not to have to tuck for a change.

Fantastic! What a great outfit. I have added a lot of linen over the last few years. It's perfect for work - cool but still covered for the office AC. I'm so glad that you posted the GAP top. I have had that in and out of my cart so many times. The length looks just right and I know we are about the same height!

donna - I agree with linen in the heat, it's great. I have been slowly growing my linen collection after I moved to a warmer state.

kellygirl - I highly recommend the Gap shirts, I own two of them and adore them. They have been very versatile pairing well with both jeans and shorts, for both business casual and casual settings. I took my usual size in Gap, which is a Small. I'm excited we will be shirt twins. *high five*

Dee-I was tickled pink when I noticed that the frothy aqua matched my sneakers. The sneakers were an impulse purchase that became a workhorse this summer. They go with so much of my summer wardrobe.
