Hello.
I added this JCrew linen button up shirt last year in navy and found it so versatile to dress up or down with shorts and denim that I added the French Blue this year.
For daytime I wore this French Blue JCrew linen button up shirt with white shorts with cognac accessories.
Then I wanted a darker outfit for evening so I swapped the white shorts for dark wash jeans and navy suede heeled sandals for dinner with DH. The shirt pairs just as well with white bottoms as it does with dark bottoms to my eye.
