Today I'm going to be with one of my BFFs -- she's on her way home now from the hospital, where she just had a lumpectomy. Prayers that this is all she will need, as we'll be waiting for more test results.
Later, I'm going to a photography industry function at a local brewery, which will be a lot of fun. We do a print swap too, which is a blast (we draw numbers to see who gets first choice, etc, and a print can be "stolen" from a previous person up to three times -- last year mine was stolen right up to the max!). It's a very casual event, and we've been advised to dress warmly for the brewery tour.
I want to be comfortable for a long day, and the scarf brightens up an otherwise dark outfit. I included a detail pic so you can see the houndstooth of the jeans better, and the play of the colors and textures together.
