I love gamine! And it went well. Got some compliments, most were really surprised and thought it was quite radical of me. I hadn't told anyone I thought about going this short besides my sister and my mum, so this was a bit of a surprise. Oh and I had a lot more strangers holding the door for me.

The pants are by a brand called Angels, available at Galeria Kaufhof. My mum bought them for me as a present the last time she was here in Berlin. She was shopping for pants for herself and found them on the sales rack. They were marked down from 70€ to 15€, or something like that.

Yes, twice. The first time with fourteen, the last time when I was eighteen. But they weren't as fab as this one. That's the difference between a hairstylist from Berlin and one from the middle of nowhere cutting hair.

I think this haircut is going to be a starting point for a style change for you, Astrid. "Gamine" is the right word for it and it is very much adorable.
Interesting observation about the earrings: I have a pixie and wear my earrings very frequently because I thing they do help to accentuate my face.

Thanks Sveta! I think I'm going to go look up "Gamine" on Pinterest. I can't see myself changing big time, but I can definitely see myself going dressier overall, it's something I've wanted to do in any case. I guess the cut will help to speed up that process.
