WIW - Erranding with my mom - YouLookFab Forum

Hi Lovely ladies!
Today the weather is 63 degrees and sunny. Definitely a great start to the weekend. Took my mom erranding (bank, passport photos, local clothing store she loves) and then dropped her at her St. Michaels senior luncheon. This is what I wore.
green jacket (such a surprise!)

blue cross hatch scarf

red earrings

Bonus shot of new scarf from shop I visited with Mom today. Does the scarf look nice with the green jacket. Not sure if you can tell but there is a touch of green in the scarf. I love all the colors in it! The remind my of an exotic middle eastern rug pattern.

Opinions and suggestions? I thought it turned out pretty nicely.

The new scarf is gorgeous, too! I like the blue one better with this particular outfit, but the red one will go with lots of other things.

Thanks ladies! I appreciate your thumbs up on the outfit. That new scarf will work with a lot of things I hope. I realize that it is not a springy scarf but I simply couldn't resist and since it's Idaho I live in our weather definitely throws us curveballs all the time!

The new scarf looks fab too, but I'm not so sure about it with the mint jacket. It seems fall-ish to me, while the jacket is all about spring, but maybe it looks different IRL? Just my two cents.

Really cute outfit. I especially love the color combo. (I have the feeling I have said that to you before.) I think you can wear the new scarf with the green jacket, but it wouldn't be my favorite pairing.

Thanks! I actually teamed the new scarf just as a proof of concept that the colors would actually work. I agree that it is as Jonesy put it "fallish" where the rest of the outfit is more springy/summer. Thanks for all the thumbs up on the basic look!

LOVE red scarf with lime jacket. Red and green are the traditional colours of spring/summer where I live, with a shot of yellow thrown in for early spring!

And that first outfit is just FABULOUSLY accessorized! LOVE that you added red earrings to the blue scarf --- a small, subtle pop of colour but so sophisticated!
