Two good sale bargains I just scored: the shoes and dress!
I wanted a pair of black non-platform sandals and found these Gentle Souls at a local shop's big holiday sale -- last pair and they fit me! It was meant to be. I never tried this brand before but they are very comfortable. I liked the hardware, of course.
The dress caught my eye immediately on the sale rack even though the color scheme is not typical for me. Pink? Yellow? Usually, no, but I loved the abstract floral and the combination of soft and vivid. It's light and loose and feels great on a warm, humid day.
I changed out the self belt for a thin leather one. None of my black belts worked -- too thick or heavy, or too big to cinch at the waist. But I thought this one worked pretty well, and might actually be better than black. I added the black and silver leather bracelet to balance the black of the shoes a bit more.
