I have a bunch of errands to run later in the day and felt that I needed a change from my usual skinnies. I decided to break out my old flare trouser jeans after reading that dramatic flares are on trend for spring. This outfit is a slightly updated version of my very first outfit formula when I joined YLF 5 years ago: wrap top, bootcut jeans and wedge pumps. The bootcuts have been substituted with flares and wedge pumps with wedge booties. I have also omitted wearing a necklace and a cami (which I would in those days) for a simpler, cleaner look. I feel that this is a pretty modern classic look but please correct me if I am wrong.
Almost everything in this outfit is at least 4 years old, other than booties which are 1.5 years old. The leather jacket is in its 9th year!
