Back at home and things are hectic. Our en suite bathroom is gutted and starting to get drywall reinstalled. Electrical and plumbing are set for the next phases. We chose new quartzite countertop yesterday (pics 2-4 show our tile selections with it). So in my mirror selfie you can see the edges of boxes for the renovation, LOL.
In the meantime, we have to hurry to use the downstairs bathroom in the morning to get ready and dressed before the contractors show up. I’m throwing together outfits rather quickly as a result.
The other day I felt like wearing this white openwork L’Agence top. Layered over a white tank, and worn with old charcoal grey Bermudas I bought in Santa Fe about eight years ago. The Sorel sandals are also pre-pandemic.
It’s been very humid and hot here. Yesterday the “real feel” temp was 107 while we were walking around the remnant yard at the granite and stone store. Gah. I’m ready for fall!
