WIW - Angie pick Jcrew floral sweatshirt

Hi all! I have an super casual WIW here (still with wet hair!), going out for breakfast/brunch with mom and then grocery shopping. This is the JCrew floral sweatshirt that Angie recommended recently. Hubby doesn't care for it on me, and I'm not sure if it's really flattering on me either, but it's cozy and comfortable for weekend wear. What do you think of it on me?

I think it looks great. It is an oversized fit and DH probably is not used to that fit. Do you wear oversized often?

i just bought the same shirt, and i'm trying to decide if i could wear this to work. anyway, i like it, i think it looks really good on you.

i think this piece is harder to wear than it seems at first. The flower is so big.

I really like it on you. If you want to brighten it up you could layer a white shirt underneath. Although the dark color probably isn't what DH objects to, it's the fit. My boyfriend always picks the more predictable, mainstream looks for me.

Thanks for the thoughts, all. I felt very comfortable wearing this today. I don't usually wear things that are oversized, so that's probably why my husband thought this looked too big. It felt nice on, and I like that it's 100% cotton.

kkards, I don't think I would wear this to work (except on casual Fridays). But my workplace is business casual. Feels a bit too relaxed for work wear.

Cocolion, I will try layering underneath. I like that idea.

I feel like this gets repeated a lot around here... But have you tried scrunching the sleeves?
My DH has issues with waist surrender/oversize as well. I don't think we can blame them for liking our shapes to show. But we still get final say

So fun to see you posting again! You look lovely. I think the print adds a feminine edge to a utilitarian look. I think the skinnies give structure to the overall look, so even though the top is boxy, the effect is still flattering.
