#1 to #3 - Pink Popover with White Jeans
Today's outfit felt like a miss to me. I enjoy the pink top paired with the white jeans, but a different sneaker/shoe would have been better to my eye. The outfit feels very bottom heavy with all the white for some reason. Or maybe it's because the top feels a little more western than sporty to me?

So I restyled the pink top with light blue jeans, cowgirl boots and a hat. Felt much better about this combination.

I actually think the first look is just fine ! The blue bag is drawing my eye though and seems a little too dark for this outfit . I’d use a paler colour bag and I think it would change the look dramatically . Maybe something a little more feminine for some contrast / tension .

I think both look good. You might be like me though and prefer to not have all light (or all dark) on the bottom half and not add some light (or dark) on the top half.

I agree a light bag would do that or blue, brown sneakers.

But honestly both look great.

I like the second outfit best but the first outfit is nice too. In the l sunny weather you have I think white looks great.

Both are cute with a slight preference for the first one. I personally am not a big fan of pink and brighter blues together. After not wearing white bottoms for five years l am finding a trickiness to styling them. The fabric on top must not be too heavy, I need some contrast as well. It's satisfying to find a good combo though.

Not a miss to me, but I totally get that sometimes irl something feels less than fab. Maybe it’s a 3rd piece -I’d try adding a white or pink belt.

Agree that there is nothing at all wrong with the first outfit, but the important thing is how you feel. Second outfit made you feel more like you and that's the most important thing!

Angie - A less white sneaker is a great idea, thanks! And *happily collects killer rating* I've probably only got another week or two of weather cool enough to sport bootcut jeans cowgirl outfits before I'm reaching for lighter fabrics. Our warm weather is coming quickly!

Sal - Great insight, I do like an all dark bottom but an all white bottom may be throwing off the look to my eye.

slim cat - Trying different shoes and accessories is a great idea, I think swapping shoes for more contrast with the white jeans would work well.

pirouette - White and other light colors are very popular in my area as the weather warms up. When it's humid and hot, darker colors just look to "hot" to wear.

Star (Lise) - White bottoms can create a lot of contrast, which does indeed make them tricky to style sometimes. But the crispness can be lovely on outfits when it works!

That said, I see people in TX wear cowgirl boots all year round. With shorts and very summery dresses!
