Today's weather started off very stormy with a wind and rain advisory with a high of 10 C (50 F), but forecast to clear up with sunshine in the afternoon. I thought I would dress to match the "colours" of today -- moody blues with a pop of sunshine! (Perhaps also influenced by Angie's love of citron.)

All the items are old, except for the jeans which were purchased last August (Levi's 315 shaping bootcut), and the Ted Baker purse was purchased a few weeks ago. I love the guitar strap on the bag and the cheery shade of yellow! I have never purchased a "designer" bag before as the expense always seemed so decadent, it's just a bag. I've been looking for yellow for a while and the price wouldn't make me have buyer's remorse (or a sore back since I tend to carry everything). The shade of yellow IMO is perfect and I am looking forward to pairing it with lots of other outfits through spring and into fall.

Last pic of crocus taken earlier this week at the nearby Botanical Gardens (which looking at my pictures they match my coat!) That was truly not planned.
