It's been a while since I posted a WIW. Finally we have a day when I can consider wearing something other than snow-shoveling and laying-around-the-house-snowbound attire, although I ended up doing a little shoveling (starting a path to our garbage cans) anyway.
I was I the mood for a change from jeans, so I went with the EF skirted leggings (aka, the skirted leggings of controversy, or the butt-vest). Decided to pair it with my crazy 3.1 Philip Lim vest and a simple old black boat neck tee -- I wasn't in the mood to wear a turtleneck since I've been wearing them a lot lately, and it always feels like this vest requires a higher neck somehow, so I dug around in my scarf collection. I found this old narrow scarf that I think was originally from Nordstrom but i found it at a consignment shop, probably 5 or 6 years ago. How perfect are the colors with the vest? I pulled out a long pendant for a little extra layering and wore the Ugg Cortona boots.
For being out and about, I wore the new Madewell coat but didn't take pics with my coat on.
