I’ve wanted to participate in Katerina’s outerwear challenge, but a spate of gorgeous autumnal days (10-12degC (low 50’sF) with sun) has got me outside for long walks every day - and it’s just too ‘hot’ for winter weight outerwear. The Uniqlo Compact puffer has been perfect as a topper over a medium weight sweater or long sleeve button down.

I’ve posted plenty of pics of the cream one (new from September) so now I’m posting the ‘beige’ one from October 2019. Cognac used to be the perfect bookend for my hair ‘back in the day’, but now this golden beige/straw colour is the winner.

#1 the green merino sweater is a favourite thrifted piece. Like new, no pills, and 22 wears by me since I picked it up a year ago for $20. The label says ‘made in Italy’ but it is a ‘house’ brand men’s dept item from a Canadian department store. The silk scarf is also thrifted, and also says ‘made in Italy’!

#2 I absolutely love this turtleneck top! It is some kind of stretchy synthetic (polyester spandex) that feels like suede and wears like iron. It is like the best yoga pant material IYKWIM. I cut the label out because it was itchy and for the life of me I don’t know who made it. Wearing my new NoBull sneakers.

Thanks for looking!
