Ever since the SS Cloe show, I’ve been tempted to assemble the items to make an outfit with: poet shirt + denim + suede jacket. I don’t know if I’ll ever actually do it, but it’s opened my eyes to some interesting items (namely a different style of top than I normally wear, and more texture via lace or eyelet, and suede.)

I had pretty much given up on a frilly blouse since everything I was finding was outside-my-wheelhouse frilly - and then I found a simple cotton top with slightly puffed sleeves and large eyelet squares. Romantic, but not over the top! Boho lite?

It’s too hot for denim, and I don’t have a suede jacket - yet, but while scrolling through Pinterest, I found an outfit combo I could replicate from items in my closet! I felt pretty fab in this ‘fit, and it was perfect for the hot weather we’ve been enjoying.

The cotton top and the linen shorts are part of a mini summer refresh. The belt (alligator grain leather) and sandals are thrifted.
