Wishfully thinking of spring!

It has been snowing this a.m., but I'm dreaming of the days I can leave the house in flats not boots!
Working on the sleeve scrunching, Angie!
BR denim shirt
Gap shirt and SBF ( I think I have that acronym right) and my beloved geox loafers that I bought in Venice (I probably could have got them in Canada, but that's one of the reasons we love certain parts of our wardrobe, isn't it)

Fabulous outfit! I love shopping on travel, I hear you on the buying shoes while on travel, makes them more special than if you purchased them at home. It's a usable souvenir!

Sweet and comfy looking outfit. Love the red stripes over jean. I agree about the ++ happiness factor for items acquired during travel.

I have some socks, hand knit light weight wool picked up during a trip to Ireland 2 years ago. Not itchy at all. They make me super happy every time I wear them.

( edit pics: did the same thing myself. Edit your post. Delete and re- install both pics, and that should fix the problem.)

Jan -- I am with you I can't wait for spring. As much as I love shoes and boots it's so nice to just slip on a shoe without socks and keep going. That's what I miss most about warm weather. I don't get along well with cold feet

But I saw your outfit and yes it is very spring like, very nautical. I love it. The washed out blue of the chambray shirt, the red and white stripes with the gray stripe across the boat neck, and finally the soft distressing of the jean with a neutral shoe. You make me so nostalgic. I love this

Ha! Ha! Jan. The only item of clothing NOT in my closet, but also not purged, is a kilt mini that I got in Scotland. Very Britany Spears. WHAT was I thinking!

I have been thinking about my spring wardrobe and wishing I could start wearing my new dresses etc...I may have to wait a while though, its pouring with rain here in Greece and cold as well. My knee length boots, warm trousers and layers of jumpers are still being worn as well as my padded jacket, scarves and leather gloves!

I buy scarves and nice earrings and necklaces when I go on holiday, it brings back nice memories when I wear them and they are light and easy to carry home. I bought two lovely pashminas from Prague and some glass necklaces in Rome. Lovely
