Congrats!!!!!

*throws confetti*
Wow! Congratulations!
Congratulations! The most I've ever done or will do is half-marathons - the thought of a full marathon makes my knees cry. You are a super-star for getting across the finish line - SO impressed!

Raisin...i am in awe of you.

Happy dancing this side of the border!

Congratulations!!! You're an inspiration. And I love the pic!!
Congratulations! I am not sure what to say except that if I was to attempt soemthing like this you'd be calling the ambulance for after the first 10 mins lol Awesome achievement. Well done.
Wow! Super KUDOS to you! I have no desire to run a marathon, but greatly admire those who do.

Hey, is that guy in the truck checking you out?
Well done Raisin!! I loved reading your account! Good on you for helping the guy.
Hope you are not too sore going back to work!
Congratulations for finishing the race! You did it !!!! BTW, if I look half as good as you do on the finish line, I would gladly share my photo.

Thanks everyone! I am a little less sore today, thank goodness, because I can barely bend!

AJ - that's funny, I noticed the guy in the truck too, lol, he's probably thinking, slow poke!

Congrats on your awesome accomplishment!
I just read your update, and I have to say, I sobbed when I finished my first half! It was so incredibly emotional for me, but I think a lot of that is because I NEVER EVER thought I'd do something like that in my life. I never thought I'd run a mile, much less 13.1. I've heard of quite a few people crying at the end of a race -- it's just so emotionally, mentally, and physically draining!

Your time is certainly quite respectable. (Considering my half marathon times, it would take me nearly 5 hours to complete a full.)

Big huge congrats to you! I hope your muscles are recovering now.

Wow! Congradulations. What an accomplishment.

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you. Thanks for sharing your first marathon experience with us. What a great result. It takes so much strength, physical and mental, to do what you did!
Congratulations! That's a great time!

Re: being happy to finish - I was running my first half-marathon and feeling like there was no way I could run for another mile or so it would take to finish, when I saw a guy with a sign that read "The end is near!" This made me laugh and helped me get some more energy to make it all the way to the finish.
Lol, I know what you mean Makrame. It was rainy and dark near the end and I was alone and felt like I couldn't go much further, and then I saw a sign that said "black toenails are sexy"...lol! Made me laugh, and yah I got one from the training, and 2 sore ones from the marathon.
Wow - that's fantastic - congratulations:)
