Cold weather arrived. As it happens to me every winter, not inspired and bored with winter dressing. Every year I try and fail to come up with interesting (to me) outfits. Planned to look for tall boots and a wool dress, also light color dressy boots but have to postpone any boot purchases until next year.
#1 & 2. I wore this on Wednesday to the office. I like the COS sweater’s texture so much that I completely ignored that the v neck is too wide for me. Nice wool pants but they came with ironed crease that is not sharp anymore and they look a bit sloppy. Also, hoped to wear it with light color dressier boots but do with what I have ATM. A puffer, a hat, a bag - everything so boring
#3 wore it to the office on Thursday. Black wool pants, Chelsea boots and a Uniqlo cardigan. Looked too classic, wished I could wear my lace up boots they don’t fit right now. Had to wear the same puffer, too cold outside and I had to walk 20 minutes twice.
#4 & 5. -17C today, it’s 1.4F, I think. Went to a mall, dressed lightly for the weather, wasn’t wearing Heattech underwear, just camisole and a pantyhose underneath. But it was OK, even walked for about 15 to the subway and back.
From Uniqlo: high pile sweatpants, cashmere hat, cashmere sweater. This sweater is a VIP in my wardrobe this season. I wore it with dress pants and jeans to the office, with wool culottes to a concert hall and with sweatpants to run errands.
Thanks for looking. Hope you are staying warm
