I was tickled with Angie’s dress post today and couldn’t wait to try it. The hosiery even with a slip is still sticking a bit to the dress but it’s tolerable. The rest of the week is my usual work uniform with my Frye high shaft booties (which I forgot I had) but are now back in rotation. Thanks for looking.

Each one of these outfits is terrific, Kelly! I especially like 2--the burgundy is beautiful on you-- and 4, because that shirtdress is just perfection. Your hair looks great, too.

Thank you all so much. I'm really enjoying mild winter dressing because the options are pretty open. Happy to figure out how to wear my cropped BF jeans year round, especially! I think my faves were 2 and 4 just because they were so comfortable, unfussy and made me feel put together. Thanks again for looking!

Really nice outfits. I suspect many of us will be wrestling with static in these coming months. Some things that I use: Febreeze spray, anti-static spray, dryer sheets in my purse just in case. Water or lotion can help in a pinch (applied to hands and then touch inside surface of skirt). I hear hairspray can help too, applied to tights.

But the static always seems to build up again within the hour. So my fallback is to forget the tights and wear pleather leggings.

You look great in all of these. I particularly like 1, 2 and 4. I love the jeans in 1 & 2 -- what brand? And the burgundy sweater in 2 is such a rich, lovely color on you.The plaid dress looks so easy and suits you well.

Thanks Jessikams. That's what I did with the dress in 4. i think that's the best solution!
Shiny, the jeans are all super old. They're Gap straight leg (1) and the sexy BF jeans(2) from ages ago. They have worn like iron though. I am looking for a replacement for the bootcuts and haven't had much success yet.

Kelly you always look beautiful and effortlessly elegant. I am sure quite a bit of effort goes into your outfits, but it is so nice that it looks like you are not trying too hard. You have a lovely style with all your clothing fitting you perfectly and the colours working harmoniously. The rust cardigan and grey dress are an unexpected colour combination and so lovely together, so that is my favourite.

These are ALL wonderful, Kelly! You look beautiful. I love your chic casual and polished style. No 2 is a total knockout, the colour is amazing and I love the belt - boots styling. And no 5 - WOW, dress cardi perfection. Such cool colour combination.

#2 is my favorite. I think you look so full of life and energy in that outfit. You look amazing in all of them to me but that one really pops and somehow aligns with your overall structure and coloring.

#5 is my FABULOUS fave. Fun experiment. Oreo needs a rust bandana to match.

@shevia: Grey is tough for me too. It has to be the right shade--either very light or with some dark flecks in it to prevent washing me out. I’m avoiding acquiring anything else grey. I’ll wear what I have but I don’t think it’s going to be very flattering long term.
