I'm done with shopping for winter, although we'll probably have a few more weeks of cold and rain. I've been disgruntled with my wardrobe recently but despite my complaining I actually did OK this season.

Needed items I got:

• Got two warm sweaters from Talbots and a pair of cords from Nordstrom to refresh my 'it's actually cold' capsule
• Packable down jacket from Uniqlo and ivory coat from ON (find) for travel to colder climates or occasional cold snaps
• A couple new pairs of jeans, so I can let go of a couple worn pairs - CJ straightlegs (find) and Loft black straightlegs in tall
• Short black booties - I actually bought a pair of Ecco booties last fall, but I found that the heel was just a little too high and I wasn't reaching for them. In the last couple weeks, lucked into my size coming back into stock briefly in these Born boots (find), which just came and are exactly what I was looking for. Anybody need a pair of black Ecco boots in size 10?

Needed items I didn't find:

• short rain boots - tried a couple but they weren't quite right
• booties in taupe or light brown, have my eye on a couple options online but nothing has reduced in price yet, and I'd like to get a bargain since I've got other boots and this isn't super-urgent
• mid-thigh to knee length coat, medium weight, that's not a raincoat but would be OK in light rain occasionally, to wear with my longer cardigans and tops

I'm keeping those three items on my wishlist going forward; hopefully I can find an off-season deal and stock up.

What about y'all - how did you do? Are you still looking for something?
