Some outfits to share.

No 1 (pics 1-2): Floral with LTA (little touch of aubergine).

Brooklyn, as always, Wow! I am so inspired by your use of dark florals. I have always been uneasy with florals for myself but the dark florals combined with other dark pieces have made me reconsider. Just gorgeous -- each and every one.

Wow, Wow, Queen of dark floral definitely. My cousin I love all but little more outfits with skirt. I think you are skirt lady, you wear them perfect. I like the floral A skirt on you. I can't imagine winter here is 30-35 degrees Celsius yet, real summer.

The floral brocade skirt looks great. I don't think it looks like the prom at all, or too girly (the black really makes it less girly).

I really love the flares (besides I have a soft spot for this tulip top - and another for the toffee jacket) and the A line prom skirt outfits.

Serious wow. The "prom skirt" looks are my favorites, along with #3/4. You're a master of what silhouettes work for your body. A bateau-neck top plus width on the bottom (full skirt or bootcuts) is just perfect on you.

And I want a door like that! Makes you look six feet tall.

Thanks cousin MJ! We have had some warmer days in the 23-25 range, but it is still cold in the mornings and evenings when I go to and from work. Hence the opaque tights. I am looking forward to lightening up for spring.

Thanks unfrumped and Jill! I think you should be seeing lots of dark floral soon, if what's on offer here is anything to go by. I know a lot of forum members don't care for black, but I am also seeing a lot of dark blue based dark floral too. I am attracted to that also, but I have to put some limits on my floral acquisitions!

I am not a very "floral" person, and most of my floral items are found in my summer wardrobe. However, I would like to thank you for showing this very inspirational collection of winter dark florals. They don't look too summery or too cute, but rather office-appropriate as well as appropriate for several other occasions. Great styling and combos! Now I will be on the look-out for some dark winter florals to refresh my fall and winter wardrobe, which mainly consists of solid coloured items.

Every outfit is chic and sophisticated. THIS is how florals should be worn! It's very hard to pick a favorite, but 2, 3, 4 and 9 look especially fantastic to me.
