I was downtown today & saw these two mannequins in the Barneys’ windows.
First one caught my eye, due to the Off White brand stripes on the olive army style jacket (cue Greyscale’s purse). I think it’s a patterned cardigan underneath, and cut-off denim shorts with almost citron ankle boots (Hi Angie!)
I think any sort of olive or safari jacket would suffice, a patterned shirt or cardigan underneath. I think partial unbottoning at the bottom helps. Also I think longer denim shorts could work too. And any bright footwear and a structured bag.
I didn’t get a very good shot of the second one. It’s a black, I think denim or heavy twill mullet skirt with raw edges. Cropped denim jacket, flatform sandals & hot pink purse.
I think this totally doable, for many people. Many, including me have a denim jacket and a bright purse. For me I just need to find an asymmetric skirt; I’ve been looking every so often.
