Shannon's post on shifting style hit home for me. I have been struggling to incorporate my style into a new work setting and then to feel like myself on my weeks off. I'm not sure it's an internal shift as much as a forced one - I still love my pin boards and gravitate to UWP/androgyny, but now it's more about comfy sweaters and pants that feel like gear. Boots are still my main way of feeling like me. And I have some fab items in my closet that are going unworn but that deserve love.

Case in point: these Vince slouchy leather pants. I am testing these out for a possible outfit tomorrow with my Vince purple sweater and new Ash sneakers (LOVE! YAY!) for what I'm hoping is a "tomboy luxe" look. Or is it just trying too hard?

Please ignore my "just got back from a weekend at the cabin" face and hair.
