I really like the ankle cuff. It feels *new and different.*

How about a silky blouse with the pants?

You look fabulous in this outfit and are definitely converting me to slouchy pants. And the shoes are perfect with them!

Please take some street style photos for us while you're in Paris.

Oo la la! This is what I wished those Leith pants looked like on me. Absolutely wonderful!

Aww, you all are too nice! Thanks for the nice comments.
Quick, revive Angie!

unfrumped, I'd say these might run a tiny bit bigger than the Leiths. These mediums are probably just a little bit smaller than the L in the Leiths, but a little wider through the knee and calf.

Una, the fabric is lightweight, completely opaque, and matte- sort of a silk crepe. The fabric is not as slippery feeling or flimsy as the Leith ones. I can see wearing them 3 seasons- they wouldn't be warm enough to wear outdoors in the winter. I definitely will wear them in the summer with sandals and a flowy top.

bj1111, I'm 5'6" and my inseam is around 30" or so for pants with flats. I'm an apple with rectangle tendencies, I think: thick through the middle with smaller hips and thighs in comparison to my waist.
I would say that there's plenty of extra room to accommodate larger hips or thighs in these pants.

Hope this helps!

Marcy, so nice to see you! You are as fashion forward as ever, and I can't believe you had a surgical cap over your hair all day. I am no help at all with styling suggestions, but it looks like your off to a great start here. The metallic oxfords with those pants are just stellar. Rock on!
