WIMW 3/29 : Tweed Jacket , Pattern Mix

Hi,

This outfit is inspired by two Angie’s posts – Spring Tweed jacket, a couple weeks ago and Pattern Mix, last Friday. This season I want to wear more skirts and blazers, and of course my two tweed jackets. In addition to the black, white and red blazers I most often wear with this skirt combination, I tried this tweed jacket. My outfit consisted of a leopard print pleated skirt, dark beige fine knit jumper, snakeskin print loafers, pearls, tweed jacket and teal circular bag.

I don’t know maybe it’s too crazy, and maybe it works. What do you think, but an honest opinion?

It's crazy, all right, but like everything you wear, you make it work.
Puts me in mind of an Iris Apfel quote I just read about how if your hair is done properly and you're wearing good shoes you can get away with anything.

It works and works beautifully - makes me wonder if I can borrow it for myself ! Since I don't do brown-beige I'd switch top for navy and hope it still look this good!

I too love this outfit: unexpected pattern-mixing that totally works, patterns with pizzazz, the unexpected animal print loafers, and elegant you whose style quotient is through the roof!

I think it works! Your top acts as a bridge between the two patterns. You could also go with a dark blue top, which would serve the same function (as Slim Cat mentioned).
