My husband and I are attending a "black tie invited" event in Dallas, Texas the first week of March. I'm taking this to mean formal but not necessarily tuxedo formal. I purchased a sleevless, knee-length, chifon empire-waist dress with some sequins, and I ordered a pair of dressy sandals, so I don't want to have to wear pantyhose. It could maybe be 40 or 50 degrees that night. Can I pull this off? I don't want to look strange if other people are going to be dressing for cooler weather.
