I have been a lurker in the sale conversations. We don't have a Nordstrom here and I'm not sure I have ever even been in one but I do love a good sale.

However, this pink cardigan Angie posted the other day is really tempting for me. I think it would be a great accent piece in my heavily-neutral wardrobe. So I decided I would order it but I need it in a petite medium or large and all that's available is an XL.

So how does this work? I have seen some comments that items come back in stock, is that usually the case? Or is that only during the pre-order period? The other option would be to try the regular size but at 5'2" I usually need petites and I am thinking especially for something that long. Anyone who has tried this sweater, how does it fit?
