Hello everyone! I haven't been here very often and I miss you all!
I am trying to decide whether to keep some new shoes. I ordered the Trotters Paulina, a simple pointy-toe pump in two sizes. I have a new-to-me fit issue and I wonder if any of you marvelous Fabbers can offer guidance.
Basically, due to the pointy toes on the shoes, the end of my middle toe bumps up against the shoes on both feet in a painful way. It's as if the shoes are too short in that one spot. I don't think the issue is that the shoes are too narrow-- it's the end of the toe that's scrunching against the shoe, not the side. I ordered a half size up and it still happens with those but not as much-- but with the larger size my heel slips right out of the shoe and otherwise feels like the shoe is too long.
I have some liquid shoe stretch, do you think I could use that to add some extra room in the middle toe area? The smaller size fits perfectly everywhere but there. I've lived most of my life in comfort brand shoes so I'm clueless about this. I have problem feet so I want to avoid shoe misery or shoes that I never wear.
Thanks!
