I agree with what Janet said. It's all in the details. Certain heel shapes/ types won't feel as current; some patterns will feel more current than others.
Skinny jeans, ankle boots (or shoes) and fluid or voluminous tops
Skinny jeans are now a modern classic, IMO. They won't be "dated" looking. Ankle boots probably fall into a similar category. A fluid top should still work. But you might also consider waist definition.
Tunics, leggings and ankle boots
Not dated, just not the most current.
Ankle length relaxed skinnies with fitted tops and shoes
Ditto. Make sure your shoes and bag are current.
Tube skirts with voluminous tops and any kind of dressy footwear
Sure, why not? But maybe switch up the footwear. Try a tall boot!
I hear what marble said about tube skirts and at the beginning of the season I wasn't feeling my own, either -- but then, as usual, I ended up wearing them again because they are SO practical for my summer climate and lifestyle and so easy to wear. I don't wear them in winter anyway so won't be concerned about that angle.
Faux wrap dresses and any kind of dressy footwear
Wrap dresses are for sure a modern classic and should come to the fore with waist definition being more current.
