The first jacket, from Nordstrom (grey and collarless), felt really snug, and looked worse. It was difficult to zip up. A sausage really was a good analogy!
Then I bought a dark brown leather field jacket in two sizes from Eddie Bauer. The larger size looked ridiculous, and the smaller size was snug (and uncomfortable) through the shoulders. I posted pictures of these.
Then I bought a jacket similar to the Eddie Bauer one (field jacket style) from Zappos, and made by Stetson. It was a tiny bit western looking (the yoke looked western) but acceptable to me. They didn't have all sizes so the one I bought was huge. I didn't bother to post a picture of this one. Uh oh, I still have to send it back!
Then I just happened to find a medium brown distressed leather bomber jacket at Savers (for $10.50!). I posted pictures of this one. I love it! It's a beautiful quality, brand new, in a style I like. And I like the fit of it, too. When I had brown hair this would have been perfect. I think I can still wear brown because my eyes and eyebrows are brown.
So you can see I have bought a few jackets. I sort of fixed on a grey jacket because of my hair. In front it is silver with natural white highlights. My stylist calls it platinum. In the back it's grey. Anyway, I think this shade of grey would look good with my hair.
