Will I be swimming in a BR medium Tall coat?

The only reason I would order the Med Tall size in a wrap coat is for the sleeve length.

The SA at BR told me to try a tall but I wonder if the 2 inch length overall on the coat will be too much.

The sleeves would be good at 1.5" longer but 2 inches longer in length is a lot.

I am 5ft 6.5 with long arms.

Any ideas?

I'm 5'10" and have to order tall sizes in my coats and shirts. Banana Republic's tall sizes aren't just longer in length in sleeves and torso, but they also give additional height in the armholes of the garment and a bit more width across the shoulders. If you click on the size chart link on their website it will give you the measurements.

You could always order it, see if it can be altered by a tailor and then decide if it's worth keeping! Good luck - I have also fallen in love with the looks of the wrap coat but don't have the money for it. Hope this helps!
