Will Frye Jane or Sabrina fit 15" calf?

Yes another boot question!

These boots seem to fit the bill for me - Zappos have the measurements listed at 14" shaft height & 15.5" width for the Jane and 13" shaft height & 15.75" width for the Sabrina. These also appear to be the right shaft height for me. Can I trust the measurements to be correct? Better yet has anyone tried them or does anyone have them and can attest to these being suitable for my 15" calf?

I know Modgrl, this is about my last option for getting any decent looking boots. Dont want to resort to those specialist "wide calf" options they are just too blah for my liking.

I'm sorry to say that I have not tried on the boots, but I'm torn between whether I want to know the answer or not, because I'm in *love* with those Frye Sabrina boots.
Please let me know how they work if you try them. Zappos' return process is totally painless, so the worst you could do is give it a shot.

Hmmm. I'd suggest seeing if one of us with a bigger calf or measuring tape could find them in person before you buy. Which U.S. stores carry these? Does Nordie's carry them? I have a 15" calf and I'd be willing to run out there to test them for you.

I will call my local Nordstrom tomorrow to see if they have them (no sense going there if they're not in stock). I am quite optimistic that the calf would work for you, as I bought the Frye Jane Cuff boot last year at NAS and had no problems with fit in the calves.

I'll let you know what I find out.

I went into mourning after the Jane Frye Cuff boots from NAS wouldn't get on my darn legs. I wanted those boots to work SO.BAD. My calves are 14.something", but more and more I think my problem is my high arch because in boots, my foot gets lodged at just the wrong angle where I can't get it on my foot all the way.
It's worth trying because they are fab, but don't let your heart get too set on it.
My other dream boots with similar calf measurements didn't fit my calves even after stretching.

Sorry for the delay, I was out of town for the weekend. Ugh! I just went to Nordstrom, and they didn't have either boot! :(. They had a whole section of Fryes, but not a Jane or Sabrina in sight. I am sorry to disappoint.

That said, I really think you might be ok in them. My tall cuffed janes fit my calves fine. Also, have you considered Miz Mooz boots? I own three pairs, and they all go over my calves no problem.
