** per Angie’s request adding a few close up pics of the shoulders Bad lighting but hopefully shows the shoulder fit a bit better...**

I found this winter-weight short coat recently at the Macy’s “backstage” section, which is their new store section a lot like TJmaxx or Nordstrom Rack.

It’s like a pea coat but shorter. GAP is the brand. It’s heavy wool, and I love the grey leopard print with just a hint of camel/tan. The colors would be perfect in my wardrobe, and I don't have anything quite like this in my closet. The sleeves are too long so I’ve folded them up to a proper length. Shortening them would be easy since there are no buttons. The collar and lapels are a bit bigger and more dramatic than I typically like on a coat on my small frame but the pattern seems to temper that quite a bit. It’s slightly big in the shoulders, which is good for layering over jackets/sweaters, but I’m wondering if this fit is jut a little too big. The next size down was too snug across the hips, more so than moving the buttons would fix.

Photo #1 is with the collar open in it's normal position, #2 is with it closed.

What do you fabbers think? Too big at the shoulders?
