Very nice! I have curly hair but I used to straighten it so I understand feeling more polished with it straightened.

Some tips:
As you are washing your conditioner out, gently scrunch your hair up to your scalp to encourage the waves.
Wrap hair loosely in a cotton t-shirt instead of rubbing dry with a towel.
You can add your styling product to your wet hair before wrapping in a towel. (Scrunch gently to get rid of excess water and encourage the curls.)
Add product in a "praying hands" motion (hair gently clasped between palms as you apply product down length of hair).

I actually prefer this look - I find it often softens your facial features to have waves & curls visible (not that you need that, just that I came to this conclusion after trying to hide my own natural curls for years - I'm also a teacher & find my students subconsciously respond to a 'softer' look better than one that is too strict or severe).

That said, I have always been curious to try a Brazilian blowout - nice to know the growout stage looks just as fab! There is wisdom in being kind to yourself

I think you look beautiful too. I love your sleek hair, but this is equally as nice. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to get used to the new look. I love how even though you did not feel it was your best look, you still fronted up full of enthusiasm for your students. Teachers are heroes too. Thank you for keeping our children busy, engaged and calm. I know DS is happy to have his 9am daily check in with his teacher and fellow students and it sets him up for a productive day working from home.

If my hair looked like that when it air dried, I would never use a hairdryer! Love your blouse too.

As someone who can’t keep a wave in her hair without a truckload of hairspray, I especially love this. Just gorgeous. I do like your sleek look, too, but this is so lovely.
