Angie’s posts this week have really hit a chord with me as I consider how to transition my dressy work wardrobe to meet my working from home reality.
Yesterday I went shopping for trousers to wear with my casual tops and found these wide leg cargo pants in a substantial cotton linen blend. I can see these being workhorses as they are comfy and casual enough to be a jeans substitute. My son was a bit shocked at how high waisted these are and said I looked like I had come from the 1950’s. But hey, I can embrace a bit of retro style. I though I looked like Hot Lips Hoolahan from Mash!
I was a bit naughty as the cream midi skirt came home with me too, luckily they were both on sale.
For fun, I tied my scarf in a reef knot.
