Wide leg coloured jeans

I recall a mention of bootleg coloured jeans recently but has anyone seen any wide leg jeans in colours? The combo of colour and tight is not working for me so perhaps if I find colour in wide leg it might work. not sure if others have thigh issues and how they have been able to do the colour thing... Thanks everyone!

If you search the site, there are more, although probably more flared leg than wide.

I have seen a few boot cut colored jeans on Express. I know I saw a few more elsewhere.

Jen I haven't seen any here yet but I bet it won't be long before they hit our shops. I like the wide leg ones but what about bootcut, I would imagine that would be a very flattering silhouette for you?

Hi Jen, yes I am in Bendigo, 2 hours from Melbourne I will keep my eyes open and let you know if I see anything. But if you are going to the US you are bound to find something fabulous there

I just wanted to say I empathise, Jen - I can't wear coloured skinnies either - and here in the UK it's been tricky finding coloured jeans in a different style. I hope you find some when you're in the US!

Oh Butterfly, that is interesting news... I always feel the Brits do wide leg pants and great bras that I love... Eileen Fisher in the US do the ultimate wide leg jeans and they have a grey pair... they too have the red as skinnys... Oh well, might have to go a bright blazer... bit disappointing but will perservere...

Jen, I have thighs that claim their space in the world, too! My red jeans have been available at Macy's, and they're straight legged. Unfortunately, the only "color" is red -- no other choices, but there is some ease in the leg and they are generous in the sizing. The brand is Bandolino blu. The style is "Mandie"

Angie's got a great point, Jen (no surprise there). She was wearing great tomato colored trousers at the Chicago meetup, and I've seen them in the stores here in the US. I saw them at the Gap for sure.

BethAnn - I like Bandolino jeans but have not seen them as much lately. Great score.

I did see a lot of straight leg colored jeans from NYDJ (Not Your Daughters Jeans) at Nordstrom recently. Not exactly a wide leg or trouser but they have a more generous cut.

NY&Co is carrying a ton of colored bottoms. A lot looked cropped but I didn't try any on - they carry up to size 18 and are worth a shop when you visit if you want a few trend-right accessories or print tops,etc.
