Which light colored leather jacket?

I have this in two sizes downstairs but the zips and buckles and sleeve straps looks so overdone to me now.

I prefer the fit of Zara's: another one looks boxy but it maybe different on you. Are these straps removable?

Sveta, if i remove the straps, there is a weird loop left, like an empty belt loop.

I actually prefer the first one. All the stitching on the Joseph looks like a whole lotta lotta to me. Like something out of "Star Wars."

mary, i didn't notice the stitching as much as the lack of hardware, must look again.

The Joseph also looks more like my white moto, which I know you like. Mine has channel quilting on the forearm, and diamond quilting on the shoulder, a bit different. I just double checked it.

I like the Zara, because I much prefer the quilting pattern on it. The quilting on the sleeves on the Joseph looks puffer-ish (or michelin man-ish) to me, and I am not a puffer person.

The Joseph has a lot of horizontal lines on it, an the Zara has a lot going on. How do each of them fit on you?

I side with Diana - the Joseph look puffy to me too. I like the more streamlined fit of the Zara.

If price isn't an object, I'd say the Joseph. It just looks like better materials and workmanship, all around. More polished, somehow.

But they're both pretty classic, and I really like the Zara one, too. It really depends on what you want out of it, and whether you're good with one being nearly twice the price of the other!

And for the record, I adore the cheezy goodness of Star Wars and Star Trek both, and I think there just aren't enough sci-fi clothes out there on the street.

It is so hard to tell what the Joseph looks like when it is not on a body. The quilting on the shoulders gives me pause--I'm wondering if it's going to look too puffy or not. I think the first one is a pretty subtle biker jacket--it is quite sleek, IMHO.

The Zara jacket has much better pictures. And for some reason I could only look at the Joseph link once.

I love my similar black Zara moto, although it doesn't have the wrist buckles.

I think I prefer the Zara due to the sharper more structured fit, the Joseph looks softer though. Hmmm.

I prefer the Zara for sleekness, but would have to see the two on. The second one looks more like an outdoor dedicated jacket to me, FWIW. (It may be precisely what you want!)
