Good damage The tops all look good to me, though the chiffon in #3 seems a bit sheer. I'm guessing it's too hot to wear with a cami, but it does seem to grin a bit with the bright white bottoms. The pants also look good. I like the cuffed leg on the olive myself, the other is a bit awkward looking. The pink pair I think I'd hem up a bit so they could be worn either rolled or not; the pink will look a bit sleeker without the cuff, and a cuff would add in an extra dose of fun. The olive on the other hand, just looks casual no matter what so I vote just wear it rolled.

Your damage is fabulous, Carter. I especially like #2 and #4. MUCH prefer the rolled hems on the olive pants.

Try rolling the hems of #5.

Carter - love them all -but I must have the sleeveless striped blouse!! - I am however on a stripe shopping ban right now - I can't keep buying more stripes (currently totally obsessed with them even more than normal), it looks especially awesome with the salmon ankle pants - I like the pants both ways - but the rolls look great with the casual vibe in olive pants

I think they all look great. And the sleeveless tops will be perfect for summer. Would it be possible to crop a little off the olive pants and keep the roll?

Angie, I knew you'd prefer the roll! Shopping sounded way better than stripping wallpaper, digging up dead bushes and changing light bulbs in the vaulted ceiling! My job is cooking...which I did in excess!

Dustt, I'm insanely stripe-obsessed myself! Glad you like it with the salmon pants...I do too!

K, is the roll too thick? I was thinking I might hem a bit so I could wear them straight to an unscheduled showing (unrolling them) if needed.

It looks a touch thick, but I can't really tell. I think hemming them so you can wear them straight would be a great idea.

Great pieces! I love them all, esp. the polka dot pants. How fun!

I too prefer the olive pants rolled, but I don't think they look bad at their full length either. I feel the same way about the salmon...I would just play around a bit and see whether you feel like rolling them on a given day.

How about wearing the polka dot sleeveless shirt with the polka dot pants? ;^)

Gigi, so glad you like the polka dot pants! Love them. Polka dots on polka dots! Pattern mixing still intimidates me a bit, but I'll give a couple things a shot.

Thanks, LAC! I tried on so many different shoes this morning, my toe was screaming by the end. I want k's red sneakers for my polka dot pants:-).

These are all keepers, imo. You look very polished and cool (in both senses) in all of them. I prefer the pants rolled, also, and I think the length you're wearing the polka dot ones is great. That looks like your sweet spot and right in line with Angie's guidelines about really showing the ankle if you're going to show it. I wonder if you are going to wear the last two pairs long, though, if you might try them with a summer bootie or gladiator sandal.

What a great way to spend an afternoon - hubs works, you shop!
I've been wearing my ankle pants both ways - rolled and unrolled - depends on how the mood strikes me!
