WIB!!! Pleione top love and more!

And I'm keeping them!! Gasp!!! Collective fainting and falling on the floor! Will YLF ever recover from the shock?

1) I stopped in J Jill today...where I hardly ever shop...and found this orange T on sale. I've been looking for one because of the necklace if you look closely. It was a gift from a few years ago, and I know the store, so I know it wasn't pricey, but there is something about this necklace. Strangers stop me in parking lots to ask where I got it. I can wear real gems and get no attention, but this necklace is a crowd pleaser. Anyway, the T shirt says cap sleeves on the website, but this isn't what I think of for capped sleeves. I think it is very IT friendly. And oversized. XS was better but only available in brown so I went with S. Checked online and it is mostly sold out in all smaller sizes.

2 and 3) Nordstrom order came and I like this Bobeaux top. Good color and fun back detail.

4) Saving the best for last. I love the Pleione faux wrap top! Never would have tried this without YLF. And I'm breaking my no polyester rule for it, but it does seem lighter than the polyesters from last year that led to the rule. Anyway, I love it and I think it is plenty fine on my appleness that I asked about earlier. I'm eyeing other colors I like it so much...but I'll see how it does in the heat first.

Whew!!! Some shopping success finally for forced shopping June!

Finally...get a load of this hair! Just back from the hair dresser with her magic blowdrying magicness. It won't be this smooth again til next time.

Love all of these Peri. I have the same Pleione top on its way to me as well - I liked the split neck one I decided to give this a whirl (despite very unfriendly cross-border costs). I'm LOVING that Bobeaux top as well, and also like it in the black and pink (yes, I went and checked it out). Can you comment on sizing? (Not that I'm going to do any more shopping, nope, not me)

Thanks everyone! It was so frustrating there for awhile, but so happy to have made some progress. PPP is so hard! But then it pays off.

Elizabeth, the Bobeaux is a M and I'm happy with the fit. Loose, but correct. Did you do the "true size" questionnaire on the Nordstrom website? I went by that recommendation and it was spot on for both. And I would have bought the black and pink one for sure if the front was pink! I just didn't want solid black for the front...I have a black top already. The one I'm eyeing is the grey one with the animals! That is tempting me for the funniness.

The Pleione is S and I like the fit. And the JJ is S but could have gone XS. So what does that say...in one day I fit tops in M, S, and XS. So what in the world does "true to size" mean?!

Thanks Peri. What that tells me is that if the Pleione in M is good on me, the L on the Bobeaux would work. Not that I'm buying any more summer tops, nope.

What is the Nordsrom fit questionaire? I have not seen that. I've seen "get the right fit" on some websites, but they all want me to plug in designers that fit me, that I've never tried, so uslesll. That sounds really useful for us online shoppers.

Elizabeth, if you are looking at an item on the Nords website, near the sizes it will say something about "find your True Size". Then you get a questionnaire to fill out. It does include something like what brand fits you the best and what size, which was impossible to answer, but it also asked all the height, weight, measurements, shape, bra size, etc.. I've found it to be very helpful. It also asks age...hmmm. Are they factoring in the possibility of sagging?! Let's give her a little extra room around the middle since she said 54?!

Anyway, do it! It hasn't been wrong so far!

Peri, you did such a good job! I love your new tops (especially the crossover top). That is a beautiful necklace. It's a nice, moderate size for a statement necklace so it looks like it might be real turquoise. Gorgeous; I can see why you get stopped on the street when you're wearing it. Oh, and your hair looks fabulous, but it's nothing compared to your happy smile.
