This dress briefly came back in stock. My husband loves it so I will wear it to his mom’s Celebration of Life. And on Valentines Day and our anniversary. I don’t have any weddings, showers, or ordinations on my calendar but I suppose those are other appropriate occasions. My happy place is black and edgy. This dress is overly femme for me but it looks nice on and my late dear MIL would have loved it. I miss her. I will have bottles of original (almond) scent Jergens lotion at the event so that everyone can smell like her if they want.

The dress may not have a zipper but it has POCKETS!!!

Sorry to hear about your MIL Donna, but it is very touching that you will wear a dress your husband likes to her celebration. And the Jergens hand outs are an original and clever idea. Scent is so evocative of memory.

My mother is having a big birthday next month and for the party I’m planning to wear something she’ll like. Like your MIL, she likes bright colors, not my preferred grey or olive. I’m going to make it work.

So thoughtful, Donna! I have abandoned Jergen's original for not being rich enough for my extremely dry skin but man, that scent.

Will buy a small bottle just to use like smelling salts.

When I first realized Jergen's was not enough, I compensated with Coccoina glue products. Gives a whole new meaning to sniffing glue.

Ha, ha, ha Murph11. Yes, I do have tights, combat boots, and a moto jacket. I was wishing that the dress came in a black’n’white print but then it wouldn’t remind me of my Filipina MIL.
