I've purchased a few items from Lord & Taylor in the past two years and have been very pleased with the quality and price point. On Sunday, DS and I went out for lunch and a bit of shopping and I ended up purchasing two L&T items for fall/winter - one I went deliberately to try on and the other was a fall-in-love-whim purchase. I had returned the ill fitting Olsen Europe drapey cardigan and so had those funds to play with.

First up is a merino wool dolman sleeved black v-neck pullover http://www.thebay.com/webapp/w.....d-panel-04. I've been on the hunt for a pullover with a fluid fit while still being substantial weight for the impending cold weather. This fit the bill perfectly with a lovely mesh detail on the shoulders and sleeves. It works both semi tucked and untucked, with trousers and skirts.

Next up is a faux leather moto jacket in a cognac-sand color with a vintage "dirty" wash http://www.thebay.com/webapp/w.....f4wj9045--. Love how it looks kind of old and beat up. Normally I don't wear this color but I really liked how it look with the jeans and tee I was wearing and it looks fab over a column of black.

Both items are in petite and I couldn't be happier
