Last week I posted about my recent struggle with plantar fasciitis. A lot of you helpful ladies mentioned that supportive shoes are the key to recovery.
While I have plenty of boots, it became very clear to me that I needed a pair of lace up boots. Often tall boots and sometimes even mid-calf boots that fit well on the calves don't have a snug fit at the ankle, hence my foot can move side to side in the shoe. Sometimes, when the boots dont fit snugly on the foot and at the ankle, my heel also raises off the footbed when I walk fast as the heel isn't anchored properly.
I decided the perfect solution was lace-up boots. I bought this pair today after ALOT of research. I loved a couple of boots at Steve Madden but the fit wasn't as good as these.
What do you think about these boots?
On the other hand, I also bought 3 skirts that I believe will fit well into my current winter fall/wardrobe....and I'll probably be wearing these with warm tights, solid color sweaters and boots. I scored great discounts on them too! They'll also be useful come summer - they're all stretchy and comfortable for all day wear (unlike a lot of structured pencil skirts I used to collect earlier).
