Hubs travels to the bay area quite frequently for business and has wanted me to go with him for a while so he could take me shopping.
Well, we had a great first 24 hours, until I started feeling awful. Headache, chills, body aches... So we cut the shopping time short and I rested at the hotel. Still not feeling well, temp is 99.4, don't feel like eating, and I'm still weak and headachy. Gotta say, a 5-hr plane ride while feeling like this is not fun. I'm never sick, so this was especially frustrating! Seriously, I think it's been 10 years since I had anything like this.
But anyway, I wanted to share our purchases from this trip.
1) Robert Clergerie oxfords that I loved so much, I wore them out of the store! The pic above is from the sidewalk outside of the store.
2) Anne Fontaine pinstripe vest. Fits like a dream and can be styled in a lot of different ways.
3) Hermes watch (!) Hubs almost bought this for me on one of his trips out there, so he dragged me into the store (hehe) to have me try it on. For years I was not a watch girl, but I think this one is very me. Love the blue color and the simplicity of the case.
We also got hubs a great new pair of shoes from Saks. He tried on a few things but he is such a difficult fit, it takes a while to find pieces for him.
Ok, back to bed for me now.
