After following E's thread about Frye Melissa boots, I started looking for grey western boots. They're practically impossible to find. I knew Frye made a grey boot, but I could never find them in my size. Well, Zappo's had them! So I ordered them. And in about 18 hours they were delivered. Zappo's is really amazing.
Here they are. They are a classic western boot. No zippers, spangles, anything. Just some classic stitching. They look very nice. However...
They don't fit! And by that I don't mean they're uncomfortable, I mean I can't get my foot into them! I have three other pairs of Fryes this same size that fit fine. And I have a long thin foot (no high arch here). Well, I can get them on without a sock, but even with a thin sock, I can't get them on. Without a sock the length was fine but they were too wide in the front. The second picture shows the redness on my foot trying to get them on with a thin sock.
So back they go.
