Can you all stand one more post about SSIF?! I'm hoping so!

This is my splurge item: a lovely Burberry quilt down jacket with a hood in olive green.

The backstory: I've been searching for a casual hooded jacket to fit my very casual weekend lifestyle. My son plays flag football, I live in Seattle (hello rain and drizzle all fall & winter!), we are outside a fair amount especially now that we have a dog, and we have a small place in the mountains (that we don't get to nearly often enough so I don't want to factor that in too highly into whether or not this is a keeper).

I've tried it on here with my NAS finds that will constitute my fall/winter "uniform": cozy, oversized sweaters over leggings or skinny jeans (but my skinny jeans were in the wash so I substituted with a straight leg in these photos). The jacket is a good length with my long sweaters and they don't stick out too much except a smidge in the back.

My concern: although I run cold, I'm worried that this quilted jacket might be too warm for our climate? I want this to be a go-to coat for the colder months, not one that I only reach for when temperatures go down significantly (I have a much thicker puffer coat for that which only got pulled out a few times last year). Does anyone have a quilted jacket in a similar weight that can weigh in on approximate temps that they find it to be comfortable to wear?

Added bonus (I think!): it matches my olive green NAS boots (in photos 5-9). Or is that too matchy-matchy?

I have to post and run - I'll try to see if I can add my NAS purchases to the finds later.

Thanks for your thoughts!!

ETA the "finds" for my NAS purchases. I couldn't find the grey Vince sweater in #5, but it's super cozy and soft!
