I've been shopping online for a cable knit sweater, preferably in a brown tone. Found some cotton ones, then checked online on Nordy's narrowing it down to cable knit & brown.

I've never bought a Vince sweater before. I used to look at them in the store, but they seemed oversized and not quite my style, and um, they cost a lot of $$. This one popped up, and although not on sale, I have a lot of N Notes saved up. I knocked $100 off the price. It's wool and cashmere. I don't tolerate wool or cashmere, but I can with a silk under layer. Nords calls this a crew neck, seems like it's almost a mock turtle. I'll wear a scarf under the neck or try a mock turtle under layer.
I do like the sweater. It's a little shorter than many Vince tops I've seen.

I wanted some brown corduroy pants. These NYDJ Marilyn style looked ok. The color seemed more camel in the photo, but it arrived and it's almost gray. Called saddle wood. I tried them on and they seemed ok. Always have to hem Marilyns.

I did buy some dark brown pull on pants by Paige, and these will work for a dressier look. Never mind the shoes/sandals. This is just to try on.

#4 Cocoa update: I brush and brush her every day. Got a lot of fur off and her fur looks better. This was a couple of days ago. She's been gaining weight, isn't so scrawny. (8.4 lbs today) Chance confrontation with Sharkie didn't go well. Hiss and growl. Doing better at keeping them apart for now. She "owns" the guest room. You can see better why her name is "Cocoa."
