Well, no sooner did I post about how I've minimized my shopping than I went on a bit of a spree haha! Happy Mother's Day to me!

I wanted to find something nice to wear to our 20th wedding anniversary outing next weekend - I was looking for a dressy blouse or something - and ended up finding a few things I really like, so I just went for it and it turned out to be an updated dressy-ish capsule of sorts. Here's what I got:

- printed blouse - I love the fit of this, and it's nice and lightweight so I think will work find in summer, and I think the colours will make it year-long-appropriate. Inspired by some of the bold prints Angie has shared recently.
- satin skirt - I've had this on my wish list for ages; this one fit well so I got it.
- cream dress pants - these pair really nicely with the blouse
- shorts - this are dress-up/dress-downable, pair well with the blouse, and are also good for day to day.

I feel like all these pieces will be versatile and are relatively classic while still feeling sort of modern/up-to-date. All from Dynamite, which is killing it lately (notwithstanding there are too many crop tops!)

Looking forward to styling these new pieces with some of my dressy and casual items to maximize versatility and get lots of use from them.
