Wretched Vnecks! Not a good look for my giraffe neck, so I sympathize... Sometimes one will work for me but it is rare... That's such a YOU print!! Maybe a jacket to add structure up top and your pearls to fill in the V?
Don’t forget dickeys. Then the old French fischu concept. A good tailor could add a piece of lace or fabric and sew it in modifying the neckline I’d you really love it. Also was it coobie who made 1/2 camis? Lastly a lace tank worn back to front (I do that w gap tanks all the time) because high crews are hard to find. Those all become options if it’s otherwise perfect.
Nice dress. And now I understand another reason why the much loved Maggie London dress was not good on me. I need the V-neck, my preferred neckline, or at least some skin showing. I have a short neck. And I needed a break in the pattern.
I hope it works for you. Or else, NEXT
Angie! You must have some sympathy for us shorter of neck and larger of bust. We need some beautiful dresses too! But it wouldn't hurt for you to try it on over a thin roll neck!
A gorgeous dress and the colours are perfect for you. It will be beautiful with your mini Furla bag. About 10 years ago when deep v-necks were almost the only neckline available, I had a great collection of camisoles in all sorts of colours and enjoyed the variety that different camis provided to my v-neck dresses and tops.
Wow, blush and what looks like a citron. So you!
Sobbing with you. I have recently come across some things that would be SO great, wardrobe workhorses, but my size was sold out or something similar. So near, and yet... Felt like a 4 y/o whose ice cream cone fell on the ground.
I liked some of the great ideas for v- neck rehab, though.
Dress looks not too terribly fab on the model which means there is a great chance it will look incredible on a "real" person. Here's hoping it magically works on you!
Contact DVF and recommend them to make the dress with another neckline. Tell them that your great experience in the "rug business" and with your clients suggests you this dress would sell much better with another neckline!
